A ceramic coating is a liquid protectant that bonds to your car’s clear coat and cures into a hard, slick, transparent layer. Wax and spray sealants wear off in weeks or a few months. A ceramic coating is built to last for years and stays on through many washes.

The coating adds a layer of protection over your factory paint. It doesn’t replace the paint, and it doesn’t make your car scratch-proof. What it does is make the surface harder for dirt, bird droppings, tree sap, pollen, and road grime to stick to. It also makes washing faster and keeps the shine looking fresh.

1. Inspection and quote
We walk around the car with you, look at the paint under good light, and talk about your goals. We confirm the price up front, before any work starts.
2. Thorough hand wash
We hand wash the whole vehicle, remove bugs from the front end and mirrors, and clean the wheels, tires, and door jambs.
3. Decontamination
We remove spots, tree sap, glue, and road grime, then clay bar the paint to pull out embedded contaminants. When we’re done, the surface feels smooth as glass.
4. Paint enhancement or correction (if needed)
Based on the inspection, we prep the paint to match its condition. Every coating includes a one-step paint enhancement polish (part of our $800 package) to bring back gloss and remove light haze. If there are heavier swirls, scratches, or dullness, full paint correction is optional and quoted separately. Either way, the coating locks in a glossy finish instead of sealing in the flaws.
5. Panel prep
We wipe down every panel to remove oils and polish residue, so the coating bonds directly to clean clear coat.
6. Coating application
We apply Gtechniq Crystal Serum panel by panel, level it, and inspect each section as we go.
7. Final walk-through and aftercare
We go over the finished car with you. We’ll also go over aftercare and cure time at your appointment, so you know exactly how to treat the car in the first days after it’s coated.

- Hand wash gently. Use a pH-neutral car soap, a clean wash mitt, and the two-bucket method. Dry with a soft microfiber towel.
- Skip the brush car washes. Automatic washes with spinning brushes can cause swirl marks, coated or not.
- Don’t let contaminants sit. Sap, bird droppings, and bug splatter are easier to remove from a coated car, but the sooner the better.
- Book regular upkeep. Our Maintenance Detail is an easy way to keep a coated car clean on a schedule. We come to you for that too.
